Red Hot Rhythm Revival playing at https://thehatchetinn.com/ on Saturday 20th July. This is the 1992 SH7 rhythm section (James W, Hugo L, Matt O) plus Paddy on bass and Joseph on sax. Likely previous Chuff students / SH7 personnel will also turn up and jam along on the night. 1979 poster advertising Big Band show. This was the first Big Band show - which was the original name for what became the Downside Proms. These shows ran for 22 years until 2001. For all of us who took part in them it felt like they would be always be a feature of Downside life. Strange to think there hasn't been one now for 22 years - the same amount of time as they ran for.
